🏛️ The U.S. Department of Justice has moved to strip citizenship from 40 naturalized Americans, including 12 Asians, who are accused of crimes like acting as an agent for a foreign government and committing voluntary manslaughter, AsAmNews reports.
The Immigration and Nationality Act allows federal courts to approve denaturalization requests if the government proves that citizenship was illegally obtained by lying or failing to disclose crucial information to federal officials, per The Guardian.
