With Asian American and Pacific Islander voters worried about inflation, the Biden campaign plans to unveil a strategic effort to emphasize the economic costs to AAPI communities that could be realized under a potential second Trump term, The Yappie has learned.
According to a fact sheet first shared with The Yappie, the Biden campaign will aim to convince AAPIs that Trump’s economic agenda would “raise costs, jeopardize their Social Security, and rip away their rights.” The messaging also aims to tie Trump explicitly to "Project 2025," a Heritage Foundation-led playbook for the next GOP presidency.
