Museum Eblast

Federal lawmakers are now one step closer to establishing the first national museum dedicated to Asian American and Pacific Islander history and culture after President Biden signed legislation Monday that authorizes an eight-member commission to study the issue.

While a potential museum is likely years—if not decades—away, the panel’s creation is a historic first step that could hand Congress a strategy to build and fund its operations following years of advocacy, The Yappie's Samson Zhang reports.
